17-08-2015 – FPSO orders
We are pleased to announce that we within a very short time frame have secured orders on our cargo tank ventilation equipment i.e. Safety P-V Valves for two Floating Production Storage and Offloading units.
The two orders are especially welcome for several reasons, all together they requires use of our complete FPSO product range and since they both have an early delivery schedule they have let to an increase of technical staff in our DK engineering office.
The lifecycle of an FPSO are characterized by an Oil field production that decreases over time, which consequently leads to a falling required venting rate for our equipment. This challenge can be dealt with in various ways depending on the design criteria.
One is a new-building in the well known SEVAN design and includes our in-line P-V valves VAPV which serves as a back-up/secondary venting for our pilot operated VAPC which serves as Primary P-V Valve designed to keep a constant COT pressure at all loading rates.
The second is a conversion of a VLCC, and scope is our patented HI JET ISO II High velocity valves and our FLAF type end of line flame arresters.
