PROTECT YOUR CARGO WITH SUPERSAT
SuperSat effectively eliminates VOC loss by managing and stabilising cargo tank pressure at higher levels, thus achieving VOC emission control and minimising cargo boil-off.
Controlling the pressure in the cargo tank determines whether further vapor evolution occurs. Maintaining system pressure at or above the cargo’s Saturated Vapor Pressure (SVP) ensures equilibrium between the liquid and vapor phases, preventing additional VOC evaporation.
Flashing and breathing losses follow the same underlying physics, as VOC emissions occur when liquid with entrained gases transitions from a higher to a lower pressure environment.
SuperSat, when integrated into oil tankers and FPSO cargo tanks, ensures substantial VOC emission reduction, lowering it to a fraction of the original amount.
